Fabio Bono is born to Sanremo on April 6 th 1971.
Achieved the Scientific Maturity, it frequents in Milan the “School of the Comic strip” that he finishes achieving the maximum vote. It immediately finds employment as illustrator realizing numerous covers for magazines for boys (for the Milanese Agencies Europublishing and Fotoedizioni), books of fables and calendars.
In 1993 he is rewarded to the “International Saloon of the humor” of Bordighera.
From 1994 he starts to collaborate with:
the “Corrierino dei Piccoli” (working on the character “Tazmania” of the Warner Bros);
The society “Stratelibri” (Girsa - “The Lord of the Rings” inspired to the novels of Tolkien; Cyberpunk - “Forlorn Hope”; “Call of Cthulhu” inspired to the novels of H. P. Lovecraft; “Magic” the famous American card game);
The Californian society “Chaosium” for the card game “Mithos” published only in the United States.
With the scriptwriter Gino Udina, he creates in the 2000 two comic strips series: “The Kingdom” and “Tao(published on the “Messaggero dei Ragazzi” for the “Messenger of S.Antonio Editrice” of Padua.
In 2003 he draws the cover of the catalog of «Eurohumor 2003» and he begins the collaboration as cartoonist for the Genoese daily paper «Il SecoloXIX».
In 2004, with his wife Marzia, creates the first four books of the series for children «Grandfather Gidio» for the «Scuola del Fumetto Libri»
From 2005 he begins the collaboration with the Editions Piemme (working on the collection «Tea Stilton», from the series «Geronimo Stilton»).
From 2006 he collaborates on the series «Watch» and «Les Cercles de Akamoth» for the «Éditions Delcourt» of Paris.
In 2007 he realizes other 4 books of the series «Grandfather Gidio» and he draws for «Messaggero dei Ragazzi» the two comic strips histories «Giovanna d'Arco» and «St. George and the Dragon».
In October of 2009 he is published by Soleil Editions his first French comic book: "Confessions of a Templier" on history of Bruno Falba.
